She is 273 days old.

Or you can say she is 9 months old. :)
This sweet little girly has been a huge blessing in our lives. I am not going to lie, I was SO nervous about having a second baby and I prayed and prayed that she would be a easy one. Thankfully, God heard the desires of my heart and gave me Ruthie. She has been such a easy, sweet, innocent little thing from day one. She is all girl personality wise, but she LOVES playing with her brothers toys. It is so strange, it is like she knows which ones are his and goes straight for them. Harris has never minded until recently. Now I can feel myself becoming a forever referee in the Tuggle household :). I usually just take them away and either make Harris wait to get them back or just put them up somewhere. Although, now she is getting to the point where she knows when you take something away from her. I am praying that she is a sharer now :)
I took some quick shots of her the other day while big brother was at Mother’s Day Out. She is getting harder and harder to take pictures of. She is a mover and shaker now. The whole time I felt like I was in a wrestling match. I was ready for a nap. HA!
Here is my favorite.

This dirty little thing she is holding is her lovey. She doesn’t take a paci, which is so weird to me, but instead she chooses to suck on this little thing. Gross. I wash it and bleach it all the time but she knows when it is washed and she acts like it isn’t the real one. I also just bought her a new (exactly the same) one and she knows the difference. Miss priss.

We still have not been to her 9 month check up. I know I am a slacker. So I don’t have her exact stats. Can you see her teeth?! Poor baby cannot stand teething. Neither can momma.

Do not let your adorning be external—the braiding of hair and the putting on of gold jewelry, or the clothing you wear— but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God's sight is very precious. 1 Peter 3:3-4

For you formed my inward parts;
you knitted me together in my mother's womb.
 I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.[a]
Wonderful are your works;
my soul knows it very well.
 My frame was not hidden from you,
when I was being made in secret,
intricately woven in the depths of the earth.
Your eyes saw my unformed substance;
in your book were written, every one of them,
the days that were formed for me,
when as yet there was none of them.
How precious to me are your thoughts, O God!
How vast is the sum of them!
If I would count them, they are more than the sand.
I awake, and I am still with you. Psalm 139:13-18

Gosh I could just eat her with a spoon! I love her so much and I pray for her future all of the time. The main thing I want for her is to love the Lord with all of her heart. I so desperately want her to know HIM at a young age and for her to be a beautiful young lady that puts Him first.
Blessed is the one who finds wisdom,
and the one who gets understanding,
for the gain from her is better than gain from silver
and her profit better than gold.
She is more precious than jewels,
and nothing you desire can compare with her.
Long life is in her right hand;
in her left hand are riches and honor.
Her ways are ways of pleasantness,
and all her paths are peace.
She is a tree of life to those who lay hold of her;
those who hold her fast are called blessed. Proverbs 3: 13-18

Daddy’s Day 2012

Words can’t express how blessed I feel to have Jeremy as my husband and as the father of my children. I knew since the moment I met him that he would be a amazing daddy, but he has blown my expectations through the roof.  I really cannot find words to express how blessed I feel to have him. I had a very hard time during the newborn stage with Harris (more on that later) and Jeremy stepped up with a took over as though he had been taking care of babies his whole life. When Ruthie was born he did the same thing. Harris and Ruthie are so blessed that God chose him to be their daddy.

On his first Father’s Day in 2010 I got him and Harris matching ties. This year I did the same thing. I ordered them from Apple and Ivy off of Etsy. I love all of the choices they have and had a hard time deciding but went with the yellow. I loved how they turned out.

This face kills me. Silly boy.

This year the ties came with matching cuff links. Well since I knew Jeremy doesn’t really wear cuff links nor would he wear yellow ones ;) I took them apart and made Ruthie a matching bow. I cannot tell you how much I love matching/coordinating outfits. It is really dorky :)fathersday1

I made Jeremy breakfast in bed and let him sleep in as much as he could on a Sunday. The books are cute little words of wisdom for dads.
I also made him a book off of Shutterfly. Yes, I know I can’t believe I did this either. Because I am a photographer and I have access to so many great printing companies. To be honest though, I liked how the software just added the pictures in order for me and I did little designing. As someone who was VERY pressed for time I appreciated that. I was very happy with how it turned out, even though most of the pictures were iphone pictures. Just like this post, I did not take one single picture with my real camera on Father’s Day. What is the saying? “The cobblers children are the ones with no shoes” Something like that. Ha!

Here is a picture from Father’s day circa 2010. Weird how fast things change!

Sweet Girlies

I have had the blessing of watching these precious girls grow up from the moment they were born. It is amazing to me how fast babies grow into little people. Mary Evelyn and Lucy are beautiful and taking their picture is extremely easy because of it. I love them and their beautiful momma :).

Wedding: Cameron & Nathan

This wedding was a great way to ease me back into the wedding season! It was very laid back and everybody was so sweet and fun! I am so happy for Cameron and Nathan, I know they have been waiting for this day for a long time :)
Here are some of my favorite shots from the day. I had such a hard time picking.
